I used to take everything seriously when I was a college freshman. Who would not be by the way? Of course, I was at the peak of excitement during those times because everything was new and college life was really different from high school. Unlike in highschool where everyone’s secret is everybody’s secret, college would teach you how to be independent.
I am not saying that you will be alone for your whole college life but I guess that’s how I felt especially that I lived in an apartment away from family and friends. I joined several organizations and met a lot of friends from there but I was still looking for more, that is where I began to love the idea of traveling!
Most of the time, I locked up myself in my room and downloaded all the movies that were recommended by my professors that were about traveling. I remember when I watched The Royal Tenenbums (2001), Happythankyoumoreplease (2010), Memento (2000), The Addams Family (1991), Beetlejuice (1988) in just one day. Believe me, it was a roller coaster ride of emotions. I also forgot my diet when I was in college due to so many deadlines that I needed to meet. I gained so many pounds I started to wonder the best way on how to lose man boobs or breasts fast, so I found Gynectrol. Good thing that I found it very effective ‘cause I was able to maintain my figure way back then.
Everything was really boring and I thought that college life was a messed. Until one day, while looking for some books to read in the bookstore about traveling, I met this one guy named Tristan. He was just a stranger on the other side of the room and I noticed him talking about things that would not even cross my mind. Few moments later, I got dumbfounded when he asked me if he could sit with me. Everything turned out spontaneous then. All I knew was that I became comfortable talking with him and I found out that he was also studying in the same school but on a different major.
That someone I find myself thinking about all the time.
The person I’m infatuated with.
Everyday he reminds me that I should not give up on people special to me.
Tristan made my college life worthwhile and now, we’re already celebrating our fifth wedding anniversary together with two kids.
